Terms of Service

By creating an account or using WriteGen AI, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use WriteGen on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms for it.

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly about any unauthorised use.
• You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country.

You retain your rights in the content you submit (“Inputs”) and, to the extent permitted by law, in the content generated for you (“Outputs”). You grant us a limited licence to process Inputs and Outputs solely to provide and secure the service.

AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or similar to content generated for others. You are responsible for reviewing Outputs and for how you use them, including checking facts and making sure your use complies with applicable laws and platform rules.

You agree not to use WriteGen to:

• Create content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative or that infringes others' rights.
• Generate spam, deceptive reviews, fake testimonials or misinformation, or impersonate others.
• Upload images you don't have the right to use, or images of people without appropriate consent.
• Probe, overload, scrape or circumvent the security, rate limits or credit system of the service.
• Use the service to develop competing AI models.

We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Tools such as the AI Humanizer and Paraphraser improve readability. They are not designed to deceive, and we make no promise that output will avoid detection by any third-party tool. Follow the rules of your school, employer and publishing platforms about AI-assisted work.

• Generations consume credits. Plan allowances refill monthly and unused credits do not roll over.
• Credits reserved for a generation that fails are returned automatically.
• Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. When you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
• Prices and plan features may change; we'll give notice before changes affect an active subscription.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

We work to keep WriteGen fast and reliable, but the service is provided “as is” and may occasionally be unavailable or change. Features may depend on third-party providers, including our AI model provider.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WriteGen disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on AI output. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

You can stop using WriteGen and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the service and its users.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
